Good Neighbor Vet at Aloha Feed

Good Neighbor Vet is located at Aloha Feed, 18840 SW Alexander St, Beaverton OR 97006. Good Neighbor Vet offers a range of affordable, low-cost vaccinations and other veterinary medical services for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens at our Beaverton pet clinic location. In addition to vaccinations, we offer examinations, diagnostic testing, and microchipping.

Beaverton Pet Vaccinations

We recommend the following Bpet vaccinations for dogs: DHPP - A single injection (vaccination / immunization) against 4 common canine diseases. This vaccine is commonly known as DHPP. DHPP is an abbreviation for the following diseases - Distemper, Adenovirus-2, Parvovirus and Parainfluenza. Along with the DHPP vaccine, we provide immunizations against Leptospirosis, Bordetella (sometimes referred to as Kennel Cough or Canine Cough) and Lyme disease. For cats, we recommend the following: Feline Herpes Virus, Feline Calicivirus, Feline Leukemia and Feline Panleukopenia. Feline Panleukopenia is commonly referred to as Feline Distemper. The vaccine against Feline Distemper includes Feline Herpes Virus (also known as Feline Rhinotracheitis), Feline Calicivirus and Feline Panleukopenia. We also inoculate kittens and cats against Rabies.

Pet Wellness Examinations

In addition to vaccinations, we also perform wellness examinations in Beaverton. Exams for your pet are crucial for him or her to remain in good health. An exam may address an issue that could become more serious, and more costly, later on. Exams also give you a chance to ask your veterinarian questions relating to your pet's well being. They are also a chance for our veterinarians to provide you with new information about your pet's specific breed, or offer age-related information as your pet enters into a new life phase.

Veterinary Testing

At Good Neighbor Vet, we also provide limited diagnostic testing for your pet. We can test for heartworm and provide you with heartworm prevention medication. We also test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline FIV (Feline immunodeficiency virus).

Pet Microchipping

A microchip is a small implant (about the size of a grain of rice) with a code linked to a database providing contact information. Should your pet go missing, shelters and veterinarians across the country can read the microchip, access the database, and contact you. We recommend all pets get microchipped.
