Good Neighbor Vet Plus

In addition to wellness services like vaccinations, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping, Good Neighbor Vet Plus (GNV+) offers in depth exams including diagnostics and testing. Diagnostics help us understand your pet’s health problems on a deeper level so we can find the best treatment plan.

We use advanced diagnostics and testing in a variety of situations, so whether your pet is feeling unwell and needs to get a proper diagnosis, or they’re coming in to see us for a regular checkup, diagnostics can help us keep tabs on your pet’s wellness and catch any issues before they turn into serious health problems.

Immediate Care Services

With today’s challenges of getting in quickly to see your full service vet and wait times at an all time high, GNV+ is here to help. We offer immediate care services for non-life threatening injuries or illnesses. Our goal is to treat your pet or keep your pet comfortable until you can see your primary veterinarian.

Some of the medical issues we can treat include:

• ear infections
• eye infections/injuries
• upper respiratory infections
• skin concerns
• minor injuries including cuts, scrapes, bites and sprains

Diagnostics and Testing

Our partnership with IDEXX laboratories has provided us with the opportunity to offer pet owners high-quality testing that has set industry standards for accuracy and efficiency. GNV+ offers blood work, urinalysis, and fecal testing. When it comes to diagnosing a pet’s illness, time is of the essence. We’re proud to be able to deliver reliable results within 24 hours. 

Our testing includes screenings for:

• hypothyroidism/hyperthyroidism
• kidney disease
• diabetes
• urinary tract infections
• giardia & coccidia 
• senior pets
• and more!
